Dear Rotarians et al,
Our world depends on the movement of life. Migratory species—like birds, bats, and butterflies—are essential creatures that protect our global food supply. To survive, they need "habitat stepping stones"-- safe places to rest and refuel as they travel through Earth’s great "Flyways" – those invisible corridors in the sky that animals use to migrate between their breeding grounds in the north and wintering grounds in the south.
We are inviting you to participate in Rotary’s Epic Day of Service on May 16th by simply registering habitats for Project SkyBridge - a free and easy project. Together, we are building the world’s first virtual “International Park in the Sky,” and your entry will be added to a global map to visualize our collective impact.
How to Participate:
Registering a Project SkyBridge habitat is simple, cost-free, and non-binding. You are simply identifying a site that serves as a vital bridge for nature.
Examples of habitat stepping stones include:
A balcony (“pit stop”)
A backyard or school garden (“link”)
A corporate campus (“hub”)
A large private property or public park (“anchor”)
…that provide shelter, water and food for migratory travelers.
Why Join Project SkyBridge?
Be an important part of Rotary International’s “Epic Day of Service.” By registering your habitat, we will stitch together local efforts into a “global sanctuary in the sky” that follows the animals' own paths. Once you register, your location will be added to our global Project SkyBridge map, proving that while borders exist on the ground, the sky belongs to everyone.
The mission is simple: Connect the world by protecting the paths that sustain it.
This May 16th, please help us build the virtual international bridge. Register Project SkyBridge habitats in your community and help us begin to create the world’s first “International Park in the Sky.”

THANK YOU.
