Training for Everyone, Feb/Mar Sessions
Thank you if you have already signed up for the Club Leadership Team Training Workshops to be held in February and March 2021.

If you haven’t and are interested in attending, then please take this opportunity to do so.

Below is an overview of who should attend, what you will learn in Part 1, and when and where it will take place.

Who should attend?
  •          Our District’s Rotary Family: Rotarian, Rotaractor and Interactor Leaders. District leaders recognize it takes more than a president to lead a club, it takes a team, thus it has been decided to open up the training to all leaders and potential leaders in your club.  We are hoping that at least 4-6 members of your club will attend. There is no additional charge for this training.

What will you learn in Part 1?
  •          The topics will include:
“Leading Your Club” (Martin Parnell DGE): How your club works with the District and Rotary International, what makes a Vibrant Club and where to get help during your year.
“Planning for Success” (Karen Blewett): Why a Strategic Plan is important and key steps to help your club establish one.
“Setting Your Club Goals” (Linda Morris): Why setting goals makes your club more vibrant and a step-by-step approach to Goal Setting.
“The Value of Community Assessments” (Hyder Hassan): How to help your club identify the top needs in your community using a “Community Assessment Toolbox”.
  • Each session will be led by AG’s from across the District.

When will it take place?
  •          Saturday, February 20th (Part 1) and Saturday, Feb 27th (Part 2) or Wednesday, March 10th (Part 1) and Wednesday, March 17th (Part 2)
    • Each interactive Zoom session will last from 3 - 3 1/2 hours
Where will this take place?
  •          This training will be online. Go to www.rotary5360.ca , EVENTS-CLUB AND DISTRICT CALENDAR. Then select dates (Part 1 and 2) on the day/time you wish to attend and register….It’s that easy!

Let me say thank you again for the truly beautiful flowers you supplied this past season. We used them for a wedding—the colors and mixtures were lovely and we were most impressed by all the variety.

RAYEC Camp, Aug 8 - 14, 2021

Planning is well underway for the 24th annual Rotary Alberta Youth Entrepreneurship Camp.
RAYEC 2021 will be held August 8 to 14 at Eagles Nest Ranch.  RAYEC is a business camp for youth aged 13-15.

The camp would not be possible without the financial support of the clubs of Rotary District 5360.  Sponsoring a camper/youth leader for the week is $1000.00.

All camp applications are processed centrally.  Clubs are not responsible for finding a youth, however, they can encourage youth in their areas to apply.
