Hyder Hassan has been named to the Premier‘s Charities Council to advocate for Alberta‘s vulnerable populations amid the COVID-19 pandemic. 
 

"A new provincial panel appointed Saturday by Premier Jason Kenney to advise on “civil society” will consider how the the government can support vulnerable Albertans during the COVID-19 crisis.

A total of 15 people have been appointed to the new Premier’s Council on Charities and Civil Society, including UCP MLA Jeremy Nixon, who has served in a leadership role with the Mustard Seed in Calgary. Nixon has been named Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Community and Social Services."
